I also have a ti4200.  I'm also seeing a noticeable decrease in
performance with the newest drives (the "radar parts" map in Enemy
Territory is sluggish when it was not previously).  I'm not
experiencing lockups though.  I'm using mm-sources 2.6.2-mm1 and I
don't have any APCI/APM junk compiled in.
