It's just too darn unstable. The only kernel module I could get working with the card was a locally-compiled version built from the drivers from nvidia.com. The latest version from nvidia won't work at all, I'm using an older version (6111). I typically boot into console mode then do a startx when I need the gui. But I can only do a startx once per boot; exiting x back to the console and startx'ing again causes a hang. When running X and trying to start Xvnc also causes a hang. I'd like to have something a little more stable so I can a) enter and leave X at will without rebooting and b) run X and Xvnc simultaneously. -- [email protected] mailing list
