I, unfortunately, can't do that, since this is my only working computer. I'm pretty sure the evil ol' Windows XP-running Dell has a failing hard drive, so I'm afraid to boot it, even through Knoppix.
Meh. I can usually time hitting the reset button right so nothing is being written to the hard drive or anything...
....Even through Knoppix, even with the hard drive completely disconnected. That's the bad thing about mailing lists: you can't edit messages. On the forums I frequent, if I post more than a two word message, I edit it within thirty seconds.
