Recently kde 3.4 beta 1 appeared in portage tree,
there is a big change, they are now splitted in many single application ebuilds.
But they are all masked and keyworded ~x86,
since I want to try them on amd64 how can I keyword them all ?

hint: /etc/portage/package.keyword dont work for me

oops, written wrong in the mail but done well on gentoo, I was doing it in
/etc/portage/package.keywords, I've tryed all (separately) theese syntax
1) kde-base/kate-helloworld amd64
2) kde-base/kate-helloworld ~amd64
3) kde-base/kate-helloworld amd64 ~amd64

<emerge-ex>
# emerge -av kde-base/kate-helloworld

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies
!!! All ebuilds that could satisfy "kde-base/kate-helloworld" have been masked.
!!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request:
- kde-base/kate-helloworld-3.4.0_beta1 (masked by: missing keyword)
# <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (14 Jan 2005)
# Beta release of KDE 3.4 - split ebuilds

For more information, see MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge man page or section 2.2 "Software Availability" in the Gentoo Handbook. </emerge-ex>
