[gentoo-user] What CPU type is a VIA Ezra? which tarball to use?

I'm installing gentoo on a machine with a Via Ezra CPU. I'm at the point
in the install when I need to select the appropriate tarball, and I 
can't tell which of the tarballs to use:

        x86
        686
        pentium3
        pentium4
Of course I could use the lowest common denominator, but I'd like to use
the fastest one possible. What do you think?
Later, I'll be asked to be more specific. Is the Ezra a 586, 686, p3,
p4, and there are probably other choices that I don't even know. Any
suggestions here are most welcome.
