Hi,
is there a way to prevent the emerge command from rewriting the world file located in /var/lib/portage?
Everytime I use emerge the world file gets rewritten and all comments and the structure is thrown away.
It would be nice if emerge just parses this file and appends a new line when a new package is recorded.
