Is this correct ? what changes do you want to make? . if the settings you want to change are the spamassassin configuration directives (like whitelist_from), do it in 'etc/spamassassin/local.cf'. the only reason to change qmail-scanner-queue.pl is to change it's behavior (e.g. admin's email, from what score the email should be deleted/rejected, etc...).
