I guess I'm not sure what you mean. Duplicated, as in multiple versions of a package installed? If so, you can use emerge --prune (-P) PACKAGE which will keep only the newest version. If that's not what you want, you can always uninstall specific copies of a package with emerge -C =category-name/PACKAGE-x.y which will leave all other versions intact. Tom
