Yes!  However, I wonder what script has changed.  Wireless used to work on 
boot - I could see it scan and pickup the correct ESSID.  Now, net.wlan0 
fails, and I must run the commands you've outlined.  But, it works, and 
something is better than nothing.  Thanks a lot.
