First let me thank all posters for your good input. This thread has provided a nicely rounded view of what to expect (and do). I am an escapee from the fedora camp. (A long time redhat user who went with fedora branch). And you've hit the nail squarly above. I decided to jump ship recently because of the constant reinstalling if you follow testing branchs. I picked gentoo because of some prior (slight) experimentation I'd done with it. -- [email protected] mailing list
