Go into the GRUB shell and type find /kernel-2.6.11-gentoo-r8 to see which GRUB device contains your /boot partition. looking at your setup, I would have expected it to be (hd1,0), unless the SATA drive is detected first, in which case it would be (hd0,0). -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
