But then you need to configure your news-reader to grab the groups from all the different news-servers that are spread around the internet. How is that making things easier then a mailing list? Another reason why news-groups are not very usefull is that most news-servers (at least when I last used them) won't keep all the messages. I have this list (among others) archived on an IMAP-server for quick searching. -- Joost
