On this i5 box I have two 1TB SATA disks in RAID-1 with md and lvm2 on top. There's so much space that I was lavish with swap space: each disk has 1GB at priority 10 and 10GB at priority 1. Far too much: I've never seen more than a few hundred MB swap in use, even when compiling Firefox or OO.o. -- Rgds Peter Linux Counter number 5290
