default gcc gentoo 3.4.x default gcc fedora:4.0.x I am fine with that. You CAN of course force feed your gentoo gcc4, if you want. That is the great thing about freedom ;) But for some people, that is not enough.. that is fine with me. If someone wants such a new beast like gcc4 the default, there are many alternatives, and the guys who choose gentoo because it is 'always the latest&greatest' may rethink their choice, for the better of all of us. -- [email protected] mailing list
