Uh, Linux is a kernel, and even GNU is really a collection of shell-oriented tools, which can be run from Android just fine. So Android IS Linux, at least as much as Gentoo is, or your DVR, or your car radio, etc. I think we have to get over the whole "Linux was figured out in 1996 and anything different from then is bad" thing. -- Rich
