Hi Dan, (WARNING! I am no native english speaker! :) Thank you very much for you interest in this problem. I tried to compile the beast outside but regardless what I was doing, it bests configure insists of not seeing libpng, which definitely ist installed on my system. Since you ar intested in the program (or: in this kind of programs?) you may also take a look at zynaddsubfx... Keep hacking! :) Best regards, Meino
