Claws has a plugin named "fancy" that handles HTML. At present, this is disabled by Gentoo due to the fact that the HTML rendering engine (webkit-gtk for Gtk2) has more holes than Swiss cheese. The Gentoo dev's are waiting on the Gtk3 version of Claws so that a newer HTML engine can be used.
