Hello list,

I recently updated "app-crypt/pinentry" and suddenly "/usr/bin/pinentry-gtk-2" was missing.

I am using "pinentry-gtk-2", so I can enter the passphrase for my GPG private key, when using the browser extension "Gopass Bridge".

Taking a look at the commit of the package[1], it states:

   [...]
   -disable gtk2 (obsolete)
   [...]

            econf \
            [...]
            --disable-pinentry-gtk2 \
            [...]

The USE flag "gtk" was not removed:

   -IUSE="caps emacs gnome-keyring fltk gtk ncurses qt5"
   +IUSE="caps emacs gnome-keyring gtk ncurses qt5"

Since when is this obsolete and is there any alternative?

-Ramon
