Kmail is broken after cleaning out old kde versions (3.1-3.4) starting it from a terminal shows the following when I attempt to send an email. Receiving email works properly. 2~QWidget::setMaximumSize: (unnamed/RecipientComboBox) The largest allowed size is (32767,32767) sending an email typically ends with the error message:

() I've remerged postfix, kdelibs, kdepim pam and anything else remotely related to errors I have found. I've done revdep-rebuild. I've tried emerge eD system and I've removed kdepim and merged kmail by itself. I'm lost Logs don't seem to show anything useful and frankly I'm stumped. It seems to be a problem with smtp I haven't changed any kmail settings and I merged thunderbird and it seems to have the same problems. What else can I try here? My frustration level is such that I'm about to start throwing something. Using my ISP's webmail interface is a PITA. -- Regards, Ernie 100% Microsoft and Intel free -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
