I posted this a couple weeks ago with no answer. I am still unable to determine what is going on.

I have rebuilt amarok and libvisual with very conservative CFLAGS, and without opengl in attempts to fix this problem. I am not having problems with anything other package on my system. Is there any clue on what is causing this and what to do to fix it?
