Odd. On my system:

$ locate gkrellm | grep bin
/usr/bin/gkrellm2
/usr/bin/gkrellmd
$ epm -qf /usr/bin/gkrellm2
gkrellm-2.2.5

Maybe you need 'X' USE flag set? In any event, 'gkrellm2' is what you are 
looking for...
