built_with_use looks in the vdb (/var/db/pkg) for IUSE and USE of python. At the time when you installed dev-lang/python-2.4.3-r1 it didn't have a tk USE flag in IUSE. It does now. So simply reinstall python and then try again. # emerge -va1 dev-lang/python -- Bo Andresen
