I didn't find a bug filed, although there was one for the need (or lack 
thereof) to slot gnupg-2.0.x...

Anyway, I uninstalled gnupg-1.4.x and gnupg-1.9.x and installed 
gnupg-2.0.x.  I then shut down my agent(s) and any other programs that 
might be using the old gnupg libraries (like kmail).

At this point, I'm not running gnupg-2.0.x and my old passphrase continues 
to work.
