Or swap the entries in /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules so that the firewire port is eth1 (or just remove ETH1394 fro your kernel if you never want to network over firewire. -- Neil Bothwick Am I ignorant or apathetic? I don't know and don't care!
