I doubt it works that way. I always get mails back from the list, I can forward one to you, the headers should be proof enough. Of course it's possible to place a copy of your sent message in your inbox (and I know, kmail's got an option for that) but that's not standard behavior. It's merely a workaround for broken filters like gmail's.
