To eliminate bugs, I'm using this as xorg.conf.new:

I get the following error lines in the console:
FATAL: Module radeon not found.
(EE) RADEONHD(0): RHDDRIVersionCheck: drmOpen("radeon",
"pci:0000:05:05.0") failed.
[ 1256.744546] uvesafb: mode switch failed (eax=0x34f, err=0). Trying
again with default timings.
Radeon DRI is compiled into the kernel.
What do I do now?
(It's been quite a long while since I've installed X. My knowledge has
all but vanished.)
