Furthermore, you should not to cc anyone on emails to < [email protected]> unless you are close friends with them and you are sure that they will want to receive emails generated when members of this group press 'reply-all'. Unless you are willing to take personal responsibility for these secondary emails, do not do it. If we get complaints about such emails the original sender of original email with the excessive cc will be banished from this group. In addition to being impolite, if those receivers mark that mail as spam, then this group starts getting tagged as a spam sender. *It is also confusing to cc people with moderation privileges (Andrew Lockely, Mike MacCracken, Ken Caldeira), because we then get the email in our in box and are not sure if it came directly from the sender or came through googlegroups, and we might not approve your post thinking it already went out to the group.
