Re your "Other ideas": I have decided to spend time with a new group
that I first heard about on Sunday. See http://citizensclimatelobby.org/
Strong support from Jim Hansen as they are pushing a 100% revenue
neutral (therefore supportable by R's) carbon tax at $15/ton CO2, growing at
$10 per year.
In their fourth year, they are doubling in membership every year, with
main emphasis on respectful meetings with all national elected Congresspersons
and Senators.
