Although I posted this over a month ago, I had not yet fully read the paper.

After reading this 37 page review of Earth Radiation Management (ERM) 
options, I feel that the subject is a great addition to the subjects 
discussed here.  From solar updraft chimneys to arctic thermo-siphons this 
paper presents atmospheric (and otherwise) thermal bridging as not only a 
means to ameliorate global warming, but also as a way of producing energy 
in the process.  Energy produced in this manner removes the GHG load that 
would have been produced from burning fossil fuels in their stead.

Although this forum has been focused mostly on SRM and CDR, I would love to 
see the topics expand to include ideas presented in this paper.
