Although I posted this over a month ago, I had not yet fully read the paper.
After reading this 37 page review of Earth Radiation Management (ERM) options, I feel that the subject is a great addition to the subjects discussed here. From solar updraft chimneys to arctic thermo-siphons this paper presents atmospheric (and otherwise) thermal bridging as not only a means to ameliorate global warming, but also as a way of producing energy in the process. Energy produced in this manner removes the GHG load that would have been produced from burning fossil fuels in their stead. Although this forum has been focused mostly on SRM and CDR, I would love to see the topics expand to include ideas presented in this paper. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "geoengineering" group.
