Climate Engineering Research: Current State and Future Perspectives

Symposium in Berlin I Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and
Humanities I July 7-10, 2015

http://www.spp-climate-engineering.de/the-symposium.html

The Climate Engineering Research Symposium 2015 will focus on the current
state and future perspectives of Climate Engineering Research by

➢ taking stock on what we collectively know about Climate
Engineering.

➢ exchanging views on the different directions in which research
could and should move in order to provide sufficient information for
societal decisions on Climate Engineering.

The Symposium will consist of five consecutive cross-cutting plenary
sessions that reflect the multi-disciplinarity of the topic and to foster
exchange among disciplines:

   - Scientific Feasibility of Climate Engineering Ideas
   <http://www.spp-climate-engineering.de/session-1.html>
   - Exploring Climate Engineering Uncertainties
   <http://www.spp-climate-engineering.de/session-2.html>
   - A Comparative View on Climate Engineering Options and Assessment
   Metrics <http://www.spp-climate-engineering.de/session-3.html>
