Prof Robock, Though I haven't read the entire paper, I am convinced that the modeling may be accurate from a vantage view but the statistical significance of these results may be challenged due to distributional differences by regions. E.g. While JJA Rainfall increase may be statistically significant in West and Southern Africa, statistical models for East Africa do not confirm the significance of the increased JJA rainfall. I am also pretty sure that in central and northern Africa these results may still be questionable. Therefore you need a comparison of both pseudo and actual data to establish differences arising from different models. My kind regards. Cush
