That is how I understand it, too. The Atlantic reporter was not there,
but interviewed several attendees afterwards. However, there were
several reporters at the meeting. I did not see any reporting of the
meeting during the meeting (no social media), and the Gordon people
there made this very clear on the first day. This did allow people to
present new, unpublished work and have frank, open discussions, as the
meeting was designed to do.

FYI, my understanding of Chatham Houee rules has been that I can
attend and listen but cannot quote anybody on anything without
approaching that person afterward and obtaining permission. Others
obviously have different ideas.
