Ken, Wil, Andrew, et al., The list of Ocean NETs is interesting primarily for what is not listed.
The Blue Biochar concept, converting marine carbon into soil carbon, has historical precedence, provides the highest environmental utility of the carbon, and would be profitable. The production of biomass within floating bioreactors, which would themselves be made of algal oil, waste plastic, and armored with BioRock can offer ideal cultivation conditions for a large spectrum of both marine and land crops. This is a system of systems approach which can accommodate many of the systems mentioned in the Ocean NET list while producing a wide spectrum of commercial commodities. The sale of those downstream products can financially support a rather long list of non-profit generating concepts within the Water, Energy/Carbon, and Nutrient Nexus. Any questions concerning the above statement are welcomed. Best regards, Michael -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "geoengineering" group.
