The Academic Framing of Climate Engineering—A Diverse Field Presenting Interesting Landmarks Authors Authors and affiliations Judith KreuterEmail author 1. Chapter First Online: 02 December 2020 5 Downloads Part of the Springer Climate book series (SPCL) Abstract Kreuter offers a timely analysis of non-strategic framing of Climate Engineering in the academic discussion. The chapter present the results of an empirical analysis of a sample of peer-reviewed academic journal articles from all disciplines. While framing is found to be rare across the sample, frames appearing in the sample are highly diverse. Furthermore, Kreuter highlights that many documents present a combination of counteracting frames which provide a curious tension inside the individual document. Kreuter concludes the chapter by discussing the roles of interdisciplinarity and the discussion across various CE approaches for academic framing of CE. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "geoengineering" group.
