Abstract

The UN recently reported that the life and livelihood of 2 billion are at
stake due to the accelerated melting of the Third Pole. The International
Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD), an intergovernmental
learning and knowledge center comprising eight regional member countries of
the Hindu Kush Himalayas, reported the same in 2019.  We are organizing
this interactive webinar to communicate the realities and urgency of
slowing the melt of the Himalayan glaciers.
