I am especially happy to announce that Brian will be speaking this Thursday at our regular HPAC meeting at 4:30 PM Eastern. Zoom link below. As many of you know Brian recently won a $1 million grant from the X Prize Foundation for his SeaForestation project. We will have an opportunity to hear more about the SeaForestation project as well as his perspective on strategies to achieve the HPAC goal of achieving a safe climate through a combination of accelerated emission reductions, large scale carbon dioxide removal and urgent direct climate cooling. We will also devote some time as we do each meeting to introduce new faces, share announcements, ask for assistance and generally network with each other.
