This is a non-tenure-track (NTT) position that is renewable annually. The UCLA Department of Geography is recognized as a leader in research and education in both human and physical geography. The GIS&T Program is a self-supporting initiative in the Department of Geography. It is designed to serve current students, faculty and staff across the campus, and the outside community. General Summary The Academic Coordinator II is responsible for supporting undergraduate and participant affairs in the Geospatial Information Systems & Technology (GIS&T) program, including: supporting Chair and GIS&T Director in the management of the program; curricular initiatives and planning; developing online course content; online course management; and program outreach and evaluation. This position is responsible for managing and developing online course content, and will collaborate with various campus units (i.e., Social Science Computing - SSC, Office of Instructional Development - OID) to establish and support the GIS&T online program.
