The file format the gsc uses is USGS DEM. If you have Vertical Mapper that
will convert it for you, otherwise anything that can "read" dem's probably
will support this format. Geosoft doesn't though. You can probably find a
complete description of the format at www.wotsit.org. I've been considering
writing a conversion routine for my toolbox that does it. If more people
express interest I will write it.
