Hello Stas,
if you know ArcView, you can import the polygon into ArcView and edit it
there - this may be a cumbersome approach, but would be OK for a large or
complex polygon, or where accuracy is needed; it also needs ArcView's ascii
i/o widget which you may not have.
I guess some ascii editting for correcting i/o formats will also be needed,
but at least you have not lost the accuracy in XY values.
