Does anyone know how the *.gd~ files work?. I came
to the conclusion that these files tell the corresponding *.gdb file which
channels and profiles to display upon loading the database. I've been
trying to copy and rename databases to a different name with the MS-DOS command
copy f??l3???.* f32l3???.*.(I'm using MS-DOS for this rather
than windows because I haven't found a global rename function in windows) some
of the renamed files display the appropriate channels and profiles upon loading
the database but others don't. I can't understand what's going on. I thought I
knew what was going on but apparently I don't. Can anyone shed some light on
this?
