I noticed a similar problem upgrading to 5.0 recently. Actually, this was
on re-installing from scratch. The first install was on top of 4.3, the
second was after un-installing and deleting everything. A lot of default
directories changed, and several dozen files were truncated at 8 characters
(filena~1.lut). Most of the .LUT files fell into that category.
