I am using the Euler 3D menu to process AirMag data. This is the first
project where I am giving the Euler processing a real data test.

I have updated to Oasis 5.06 and have the Euler manual released 6/1/00. On
the whole this manual is useful. I especially like the tutorials. However,
the 5.06 menus appear to be a bit different from those mentioned in the
manual.

I am processing an aeromagnetic survey flown at a barometric altitude of 600
meters. I entered 600 for my barometric altitude. It is my understanding
that the Euler picks are reported as elevations positive upwards.

I want to window my data set by first limiting the depths to exclude picks
above (greater than) 600 meters, then to exclude depths outside of an x, y
window. I used the Simple Windowing option to do the exclusion by depth,
than the cumulative to window by my xmin, xmax and again used the cumulative
window for my ymin, ymax values. Each time I had fewer null values for
plotflag. In the end I had only excluded points that were excluded by all my
criteria, when I wanted to find points excluded by any of my criteria. I
got the impression from the manual that I would get points that failed any
of my window criteria rather than points that only failed all of my criteria
with the cumulative window.

I also tried to exclude depths using the X_OFFSET and Y_OFFSET but the
cumulative windowing still only flags points that are excluded by both
windows when I want to exclude points that fail either window.

It appears that the only way out of this is to build a solution z channel
after each windowing process and take depths from that to create the next
solution z channel, but I thought the cumulative windowing would take care
of this.

Is there another way to handle this problem?
