If you're looking for a Windows editor that'll handle VERY large ASCII
files, try UltraEdit-32, available from www.ultraedit.com. Set it right
and the limit is the disk space.
DOS has quite a lot of the UNIXy stuff like pipe and concatenate anyway,
if you look hard at the manuals
