Different kind of sorting, I'm afraid. I was thinking more of sorting elements across the array (one cell or one fid's worth of data at a time) rather than sorting an array channel down the length of the line.
For example, if I've got A[0]=2 A[1]=7 A[2]=-1 can I rearrange them so that A[0]=7 A[1]=2 A[2]=-1 -Jeff At 06:23 PM 6/12/02 , you wrote: >Jeff, > >Run sortchan.bx, also look at sortall.gx and sortall2.gx. > >For info, run help>help topics>Gx Summary: Quick Descriptions. > >John Cady >Consulting Geophysicist >GeoPeregrino >Golden, Colorado > >_____________________________________ >----- Original Message ----- >From: "Jeff Gamey" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Sent: Wednesday, June 12, 2002 2:53 PM >Subject: [geonet]: array channels > > > > Is there any way to arrange or sort elements in an array channel by >amplitude? > > > > -Jeff > > ********************** > > * Jeff Gamey (4tj) > > * Environmental Sciences Division [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > * Oak Ridge National Laboratory (865) 574-6316 tel > > * POBox 2008, Bldg 1505, MS6038 (865) 576-8646 fax > > * Bethel Valley Rd., Oak Ridge, TN (865) 599-0820 cell > > * 37831-6038 > > > > _______________________________________________________ > > More mailing list info http://www.geosoft.com/support/listserv/index.html > > > > > >_______________________________________________________ >More mailing list info http://www.geosoft.com/support/listserv/index.html ********************** * Jeff Gamey (4tj) * Environmental Sciences Division [EMAIL PROTECTED] * Oak Ridge National Laboratory (865) 574-6316 tel * POBox 2008, Bldg 1505, MS6038 (865) 576-8646 fax * Bethel Valley Rd., Oak Ridge, TN (865) 599-0820 cell * 37831-6038 _______________________________________________________ More mailing list info http://www.geosoft.com/support/listserv/index.html
