Hi

I have a question about using the analytic signal or local wavenumber for
depth estimates. I see when using the local wavenumber on a magnetic grid
it is often better to take a vertical integral first to reduce the noise.
What I am wondering is if people usual use the RTP or TMI for generating
depth estimates. I think in theory the analytic signal and local
wavenumber should peak near the edges of features regardless of
inclination, but I'm just wondering which grid people typically use in
practice?

Any advice on using these functions would be much appreciated.

Regards,
Doug
