Apparently Hamed is not the only person having trouble with the [email protected] address. Oh well.
Pasted below from Tom Kralidis who is currently working on metadata improvements in GeoNode. -------- Hi: to add to Ariel's responses, yes, GeoNode links across GeoServer/GeoNetwork/Django. The initial metadata model is based on a subset of ISO 19115:2003 (see associated underlying ISO template [1]), which is driven from the metadata form for a given layer. Note that there is development to abstract CSW functionality, as well as support XML upload of ISO/FGDC/DC metadata [2]. As well, there is development to further augment GeoNode's resource metadata model to provide a more exhaustive subset of ISO metadata elements, in the spirit of GeoNode's Django DB housing resource metadata and the CSW connecting to the GeoNode DB, instead of the other way around. ..Tom [1] https://github.com/tomkralidis/geonode/blob/master/src/GeoNodePy/geonode/templates/maps/csw/full_metadata.xml [2] https://github.com/tomkralidis/geonode/tree/md_csw On Tue, Feb 14, 2012 at 9:11 PM, Ariel Nunez <[email protected]>wrote: > Hamed, > > I kindly suggest you to keep [email protected] as the recipient of > this messages.
