Dear Jean-Mark, The Mozambique project needs a GeoNode checked out along side it. Since its base is GeoNode, what we do is create a different repo for the different deployments and attach a python pip requirements file that installs all the dependencies. Hence the smaller nature. What is in the deployment repo is normally the changes we make or enhancements we make that ride on GeoNode. I hope this helps.
