with respect to this post, I was using 2.2.1 and your makefile for 2.2.1.
Later on, as I said in a next post, I tried the 2.2.2 branch using your
makefile. I'll try the homemade fix and see if it gets any further with
building ....

First, are you using makefile.vc for GEOS 2.2.1 from my website?
Second, are you trying to build with this makefile.vc GEOS 2.2.1 or GEOS
from CVS?
I think there may be some files missing from makefile.vc or some files
redundant. Simply, this makefile.vc needs to be updated
I'll take a look at it in an hour or two.
