You do realize that the apt is really similar to the restructured text 
that Sphinx uses?  http://docutils.sourceforge.net/rst.html

Like that aspect seems to be about the same.  apt seems more java 
oriented, and sphinx more python oriented.  But I think the sphinx 
output looks a bit better, at least in the examples of the two that I 
could find.
