Hi Justin, Thanks for the response. It looks like GDAL has some support for reading these files. Not sure about GeoTools. I'll do some more looking into this today. In any case, a lot of work has been done on reverse engineering the (proprietary) file spec, so a native Java implementation might be possible. I'd have to scope it out, and run it by my boss.
It would be great to know whether anyone has tried to do this before.
